SMTP authentication for Netscape Communicator 4.7 on MacOS

Netscape Communicator 4.7 for MacOS requires the following changes to be made in order for you to use SMTP authentication:

1. Run Netscape Communicator, under the Edit menu, select Preferences.
2. Select Mail Servers which is under Mail & Newsgroups in the left category list.
3. Change the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server to: REMOTESMTP.WYITH.NET:5190
4. Ensure that Outgoing mail server user name is set to your SMTP username.
5. Under Use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) or TLS for outgoing messages select Never
6. Click OK
